EVERYONE MUST GO

Date : Jan 18, 2026
Passage : Exodus 10:1~29
Keyverse : 9

Moses and Aaron warned Pharaoh that the Lord was sending another plague worse than anything yet seen (4-5). Now, even Pharaoh’s officials were begging him to let the Israelites go (7). Pharaoh tried to negotiate a compromise, letting only the men go. But the Lord needs all his people, men, women, and children, to worship him, with all they are and all they have (9).

The plague of locusts came and destroyed the remainder of Egypt’s crops (15). Once again, Pharaoh seemed to relent, and once again he changed his mind after the plague stopped (16, 20). Then, without any announcement, the Lord sent a ninth plague that was utterly terrifying, a plague of total darkness on Egypt (21-22). Pharaoh summoned Moses and tried to negotiate again, saying that women and children could go but the flocks and herds must remain. But Pharaoh had to know that all Israel’s possessions belonged to the Lord as well (25-26). Pharaoh refused, for what would be the last time (28-29).

Worship is an acknowledgment that all we are and all we have is the Lord’s. It can seem frightening to give ourselves fully to the Lord, but when we do, we experience true freedom and joy, and our worship is a celebration (9).
Application: Father, help me worship you with all my heart, giving you my very self.
One Word: Worship God with everything
